Livelihoods

FEWS NET?s livelihoods framework is used to identify geographically relevant variables for monitoring systems and to interpret monitoring and field data. It provides analysts with a means to predict and judge the impact of a shock on household income and food access. Livelihoods products may be as simple as a livelihood zone map, provide a profile of the livelihood systems of different wealth groups within a zone, or may include in-depth baselines with quantified detail. Links to livelihoods information and products for Mauritania can be found on this page. Learn more about Livelihoods
